We're BACKKKKKKKKK!!

Ok it has been almost 4 years since we updated last!! 4 years!! I cannot believe our kids are already 5 and 7! The time has gone by so fast and I really want it to slow down.  This year Ireland will be going to 2nd grade and Patrick starts Kindergarten!

Kevin and I have put a lot of thought in to raising our kids and wanting to make sure as they get older they remember they had our love and support.  It is scary raising kids these days....do you let them go to school, the movies, to a friends house?  How do we make sure our beautiful little girl does not get caught up in all the girl drama that starts way to early?? We have decided for us family time is what is going to do all of that!! We have decided we don't need a bigger house or more things we would much rather save our money to travel.  Our kids love to travel....they like hotels, restaurants, and all the new places we get to explore and discover.  So the next 3 posts will be about 3 of the trips we have taken since last November 1. Disney-best trip EVER and I am hoping we can save enough to take them again 2. Greenville, SC (fun, fun, fun city to just hang out for a night or two) 3. St. Augustine, FL  (Patrick cried when we had to leave)

Disney November 2012-  I took the kids out of school early one day and we told them we were headed to my parents lake house in TN.  At about hour 5 they started asking us what was taking so long....then about 10pm we got there and they were so excited once they realized where we were.  It was truly my favorite trip yet with the kids.  The look of excitement and amazement as they took everything in was so much fun.  Kevin and I had not been that excited about the trip due to how expensive it was but ended up wishing we could have stayed a couple more days.  We ended up staying 5 nights/ 4 full days.  We spend 2 nights at Magic Kingdom and the other 2 days playing at the pools.  Everything Disney does is 1st class and I am so excited we stayed onsite.  It truly made the whole trip for us.  The kids were great and for the most part did not mind standing in line.

Our first day and the kids could not believe they got to meet Mickey!!

I am not sure where our kids got it but they both love anything fast.  Ireland is a mess and wanted to ride Space Mountain until Kevin could not go anymore:)

They loved meeting Minnie but were not happy Daisy did not make an appearance!

Love the smiles they had them on almost the entire time!

Waiting to eat dinner with Cinderella!

They were not sure what to think of the Evil Stepmother!

We had surprised Ireland and brought her a dress with us!

Patrick was thinking this was pretty cool!

After dinner we were able to watch the fire works and water boat parade!

We had breakfast one morning with Lilo and Stitch (we had no idea who they were)

See the smiles again:)
2 days we went to the pools at our hotel and the ones next door.  They had water slides and the kids and Kevin and I had so much fun!!

At night we would walk around the resort and they always wanted to take pictures by the fountains that changed colors!

She is such a ham!!

As I said we really hope we can save up enough money to go back with them one day soon!! We had so much fun with just the 4 of us and seeing something new!! I will try to post soon about our Greenville and St. Augustine trips!!

Catching up...

The Hampton Honey's are DIVISION WINNERS!!!! We were in last place last season and ended up first this season!! I cannot wait until mixed doubles in a few weeks!

Me and my girls:)

We have had some beautiful weather the last few weeks! So we went to the Atlanta zoo with some of our friends and their two young children!

Here is Ireland who loves the rides at the zoo better than the animals!

Patrick's first ride this is the happiest he looked the entire ride!

Me and my little man!

My daughter who has no fear!!

Patrick was excited I am just not sure about what!

Ireland with her beautiful curls!

Ireland and Mackenzie before they went into the petting zoo!

Ireland had her birthday party at a place called Recess by Charley! It is a very upscale hourly daycare that is near my parents house. We drop the kids off about twice a month on Saturday nights so Kevin and I can have date night! The kids LOVE IT! They have all the toys we will never have in our house!

Ireland loves CAKE! I am sure she did not get that from her mother!!!

She was a little nervous about everyone singing to her and her being the center of attention!

Ireland singing her ABC's for everyone at the party with a microphone! She is normally very shy so I was surprised she was willing to sing at all!

Ireland picked out a Mickey Mouse cake since that is all she will watch lately!

The day before Easter our Subdivision had a huge easter egg hunt! I think Patrick liked it even more than Ireland did! They really enjoy spending time together!

Here is Ireland and her good friend Mackenzie who lives down the street!

Ireland and her little brother as she calls him!

Patrick is thrilled!

Ireland just figured out that she is supposed to pick the eggs up:)

Patrick's 1st Birthday Party!

Patrick and his cousin T.J. who are exactly 13 years 1 day apart!

Turning 1 is hard work!!

I love my little man so much!!!! He is so laid back and happy!
